معرفی
Holger Heyn is an ICREA Professor at the National Center for Genomic Analysis (CNAG), part of the Life & Medical Sciences. He leads the Single Cell Genomics department, specializing in advanced single-cell and spatial sequencing technologies and computational biology toolkits. His group integrates genomic data from immune cells to chart cellular identities and their roles in diseases, combining expertise in genomics, computational biology, and immunology.
Dr. Heyn has published over 120 articles (20,119 citations, H-index of 64) and is a member of the Human Cell Atlas project, where he co-chairs the Standards and Technology Working Group and the Spatial Program. As Scientific Co-founder of Omniscope, he develops high-resolution profiling technologies for clinical diagnostics and therapeutics.
His research focuses on applying genomic and spatial technologies to understand immune cell roles in diseases, particularly cancer. The Single Cell Genomics group also collaborates on computational tool development, bridging research and clinical applications.
