Holger Dressel is the Head of the Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at the University of Zurich, joining in January 2014. He holds a Dr. med. from Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich (1999) and an MPH from the University of Ulm (2003), with a Privatdozent title from LMU (2013).
- Research Focus: Respiratory and allergological aspects of occupational/environmental medicine, non-invasive respiratory diagnostics, planetary health, and innovative medical education.
- Ongoing Projects: Indoor air humidification for symptom prevention in workplaces/schools; validation of activity monitors for posture/motion in white-collar jobs.
- Closed Projects: Mercury biomonitoring in contaminated Swiss regions; workplace fever etiology studies.
