Hoa Le

Hoa Le (Lê T. Vinh Hoa) is a Senior Lecturer in Vietnamese and the Vietnamese Language Program Director at Harvard University. She joined the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations in Fall 2022, transitioning from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, where she taught Vietnamese language courses and applied linguistics.

  • BS in Applied Chemistry with a minor in English Language and Literature, Kyungpook National University (South Korea)

Her research focuses on Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT), second language acquisition, teacher education, and heritage language learners. She emphasizes student-centered classrooms, using real-world tasks to enhance language skills, and hosts cultural events to enrich Vietnamese language education.
