Ho Hoang

Ho Hoang is an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management at Montpellier Business School, France. He obtained his PhD from BI Norwegian Business School and specializes in strategic HRM systems and their impact on employee well-being and firm performance. His research examines the paradoxical relationship between HRM practices and worker outcomes, developing theoretical frameworks that integrate mutual gains and critical perspectives.

Hoang's work has been published in top-tier journals including Human Resource Management (FT50) and Human Resource Management Journal. He serves as a reviewer for leading HRM publications and has received multiple research awards including the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Award and International Stipendier Award.

His teaching portfolio includes International HRM at postgraduate levels, HRM & Diversity at undergraduate/postgraduate levels, and executive education programs on Effective Management of Human Capital. Current research projects investigate the implementation challenges of HRM systems and the organizational consequences of nonstandard employment arrangements.

Hoang's methodological expertise includes meta-analytic techniques, structural equation modeling, and multi-level analysis of organizational data. He is an active member of the Academy of Management, contributing to HRM and OB divisions through research presentations and peer review activities.
