Hironori Higashide is a Professor at Waseda University's Faculty of Commerce and Graduate School of Business and Finance with continuous academic service since 1998. He holds a Ph.D. and MBA from Imperial College, London University, and completed his undergraduate studies at Keio University's Faculty of Economics. His extensive career includes serving as Chairman of WERU Investment Co. Ltd. since 1998 and holding various advisory roles with multiple companies and organizations.
Dr. Higashide earned his Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship from Imperial College, London University (1995-1998), followed by an MBA from the same institution (1991-1992). He completed his undergraduate education at Keio University's Faculty of Economics (1981-1985). His research focuses on entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial finance, venture capital, and creative workforce management.
