Dr. Himanshu Jain is the T.L. Diamond Distinguished Chair in Engineering and Applied Science and a Professor of Materials Science & Engineering at Lehigh University. He leads the International Materials Institute for New Functionality in Glass and previously directed the Institute for Functional Materials and Devices (I-FMD). His research focuses on advancing glass science through innovations in photonics, bioactive materials, crystal engineering, and laser processing.
