Professor Hilmi Volkan Demir is affiliated with Bilkent University and UNAM - National Nanotechnology Research Center. He leads the Demir Research Group and founded the Devices and Sensors Research Lab, focusing on chip-scale nanophotonic, optoelectronic, and RF devices for lighting, sensing, communications, and environmental decontamination. His work spans device conception to system-level applications.
