Hilmi H. Elifoglu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accountancy at The Peter J. Tobin College of Business, St. John's University. He holds a PhD in Economics from the New School for Social Research and post-doctoral studies in Accounting & Information Systems from the University of Minnesota. He is certified in CISA, CISM, and CGEIT. His research focuses on Information System Audit, Data Analytics, and Fraud Detection, with publications in journals like Review of Business and presentations at global forums such as GBRS and GBATA. He serves as editor of JGBRS and president of the Global Business Symposium.
