Hilde Fjellvær

Hilde Fjellvær is an Associate Professor at NTNU Business School, Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Her research focuses on gender quotas, board diversity, leadership dynamics in pluralistic organizations, and strategic governance. She holds a Ph.D. from Norges Handelshøyskole (2010) and has contributed extensively to academic literature on organizational behavior and corporate governance.

Her work explores intersections between regulatory policies and organizational outcomes, particularly in contexts like SME governance and cultural leadership. Key contributions include analyses of Norwegian gender quota impacts and boardroom diversity mechanisms. Fjellvær has also authored/co-authored multiple chapters on leadership ambiguity, professional autonomy, and strategic control mechanisms.

Teaching includes courses such as BSOL5000 (Strategy & Leadership) and MET3003 (Project Management). She has presented at international conferences including European Academy of Management and British Academy of Management, addressing topics ranging from venture capital value creation to equality policy evaluation.
