Hilary Moss is Associate Professor of Music Therapy at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick. She previously served as Director of the National Centre for Arts and Health at Tallaght University Hospital, Dublin, and holds Adjunct Assistant Professor status at Trinity College Dublin's School of Medicine.

Her research focuses on interdisciplinary applications of music therapy for chronic pain, dementia care, and community health, with international collaborations. She pioneered telehealth music therapy for dementia patients and leads the Arts and Health Research Network at UL.
Recent publications include 85+ research outputs (2003–2025) across music therapy, geriatric care, and interdisciplinary health humanities. Key projects involve singing for health, dance interventions, and student-led health research (expanding from 20 to 40 projects by 2027).
