Hilary Marlow is Affiliated Lecturer in the Faculty of Divinity at Cambridge and Fellow/Graduate Tutor at Girton College. She teaches Hebrew Bible and Biblical Hebrew, holding degrees from Manchester (Social Sciences), King's College London (Biblical Studies), and Cambridge (PhD).
Research examines scriptural interpretation in modern contexts through three lenses: biblical environmental ethics, interfaith dialogue via Scriptural Reasoning, and eschatology in antiquity. Current projects include editing the Oxford Handbook on Bible and Ecology.
She collaborates on science-Scripture dialogues between Christian and Muslim scholars, with publications exploring ecological hermeneutics and creation theology. As Trustee for A Rocha International, she bridges academic work with environmental conservation.
