Bruno's work focuses on modeling consumer decision-making in dynamic market environments. His research integrates behavioral economics and quantitative methods to optimize pricing, advertising, and product availability strategies in both academic and business contexts.
Bruno's publications highlight his expertise in structural demand modeling and reference price dynamics. His 2012 Journal of Marketing Research article explores price-quantity relationships in B2B markets, while his 2008 Marketing Science paper addresses methodological challenges in demand estimation with fluctuating product availability.
As part of the interdisciplinary Key Profile Area "Social and Economic Behaviour" and the ECONtribute Cluster, Bruno collaborates with economists, psychologists, and policy experts to study market behaviors relevant to societal challenges. His work aligns with the university's mission to bridge academic rigor with practical impact through the Cologne Laboratory for Economic Research (CLER).
