Herman Daems holds the academic rank of Visiting Professor, having taught at Harvard Business School (1987–1990) and held visiting faculty roles at UCLA, UC Davis, IESE Barcelona, and University of Groningen. He earned a PhD in Economics (1975) and degrees in Theoretical Physics (1968) and Economics (1972) from KU Leuven. His expertise spans business management and administration, with notable roles including Director of the Leuven MBA program (1991–1994) and leadership positions across corporate and governmental sectors.
