Herbert Zimmermann

Herbert Zimmermann is a Professor at the Goethe University Frankfurt, affiliated with the Institute of Cell Biology and Neuroscience. His research focuses on nucleotide signaling and adult neurogenesis, particularly the role of ectonucleotidases in neural stem cell regulation. He also leads projects in synaptic vesicle proteomics, investigating molecular machinery involved in neurotransmitter release.
