Henryk Misztal

Rev. Prof. Dr. Henryk Misztal (1936–2020) was a distinguished full professor of canon law at the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL), serving as head of the Department of Religious Law (1980–2007) and curator of the Canonization Law Department (1984–2004). He held academic leadership roles, including Vice-Dean and Dean of the Faculty of Canon Law and Legal Sciences (1983–1989). His expertise centered on canonization processes, religious law, and church history.

• Education: Graduate of KUL's Faculty of Theology and Canon Law; PhD (1968) in canon law; habilitation (1979).
• International collaborations: Lectured at universities in Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Lithuania; organized international symposia on canonization law.
