Henryk Jakubanis (1879-1949) was a distinguished Polish-Lithuanian historian of ancient philosophy. He held a professorial position at the Catholic University of Lublin (1922–1949) and earlier served as a lecturer and researcher at Kyiv’s St. Vladimir Imperial University (1879–1922). His work focused on Greek philosophers, particularly Empedocles and Plato, blending philological rigor with philosophical analysis.
