Henry Suters is a Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science and Director of the Computer Science Program at Carson-Newman University. He has been affiliated with the university since 1994. His expertise spans Differential Equations, Numerical Analysis, Applied Mathematics, and Computer Science.
Dr. Suters holds a double major in Mathematics and Physics from Berea College, a M.A. and Ph.D. in Mathematics from Duke University, and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
His professional activities include leadership in academic program development and interdisciplinary collaboration. Outside academia, he serves as chair of the Sterchi Lodge committee at Church Street United Methodist Church in Knoxville, reflecting his community engagement.
