Henry J. Frisch is a Professor of Physics at the University of Chicago, affiliated with the Department of Physics and the Enrico Fermi Institute. His research focuses on particle physics, high-energy experiments, and advanced detector development. He has been a key contributor to the CDF experiment at Fermilab, playing a pivotal role in the discovery of the top quark and precision measurements of the W boson mass. Frisch’s work includes pioneering advancements in picosecond-resolution timing detectors (LAPPD) and their applications in neutrino physics and medical imaging.
