Henry He Yan

Professor Henry He Yan is a Chair Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), internationally acclaimed for pioneering work in organic and perovskite photovoltaics. With over 300 peer-reviewed publications and 54,000 citations, his research has significantly advanced organic electronics and next-generation solar technologies.

His landmark contributions include the 2009 development of the high-mobility N-type polymer semiconductor N2200 (featured on Nature’s cover) and influential papers in Science/Nature sister journals.
