Henry H. Yang serves as the Graduate Assistant Chair for the Master of Architecture program and is a Full-Time Participating Faculty member at the School of Architecture, Woodbury University. He is concurrently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), focusing on the role of architecture and construction in South Korea during the 1970s–80s, particularly the impact of computer technology advancements on national development. His academic journey includes a Master of Science in Design Theory and Pedagogy (Southern California Institute of Architecture, SCI-Arc), exploring comedy in architecture, and a Master of Architecture II (SCI-Arc), analyzing simulacra concepts. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
Professional experience includes design roles at P-A-T-T-E-R-N-S (Los Angeles) under Marcelo Spina and Georgina Huljich, and project management at Hyundai AMCO for the Hyundai Motor America US Headquarters in Fountain Valley, CA. His research interests bridge historical architectural studies, technological integration, and pedagogical innovation in design education.
