Henrique Vaz is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences (FPCEUP), University of Porto, Portugal, and an integrated researcher at the Center for Research and Intervention in Education (CIIE). He chairs the research community 'Work, Education, Development and Social Movements' and co-coordinates the strategic area on Contemporary Educational Challenges for Migrants and Refugees. He also coordinates the Professional Integration Service at FPCEUP and serves on the Scientific Council and Ethical Commission.
His educational background includes a PhD in Educational Sciences (2007) and a Bachelor’s in Educational Sciences (1999), both from the University of Porto.

Henrique Vaz has not received any explicitly mentioned scientific awards. He has supervised multiple PhD and master’s theses in adult education, community education, and arts education.
