Henrique Domingos

Henrique Domingos is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT/UNL), holding a tenure position since April 2005. He is also an Integrated Research Member of NOVA LINCS (NOVA Laboratory of Informatics and Computer Science) and serves on its Scientific Committee.

He currently mentors multiple graduate students working on privacy-preserving systems, blockchain security, and network anonymity solutions.

His research portfolio includes significant projects like ECB Cyber Resilience initiatives (2023-2024), Digital Europe/eIDAS Enablers, HADES (hardware-backed decentralized systems), and LightKone (edge computing). His work bridges academic research with real-world applications in financial infrastructure and government systems.

Professor Domingos is a senior member of ACM, IEEE, and activist with EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation). He previously served on the Executive Board of ISOC.PT (2016-2020) and maintains active industry collaborations across banking and cybersecurity sectors.
