Henrike Kraul is a Research Associate and Doctoral Student at the Institute for Social and Cultural Anthropology, Free University of Berlin, since February 2022. Their research focuses on formations of (bi)sexual and gender identities in Copenhagen, Denmark, within the framework of feminist anthropology and queer theory. They are part of the Gender, Body, Sexualities working group and use they/their pronouns.
Henrike holds an MA in Social and Cultural Anthropology (2020) from Freie Universität Berlin, with a thesis on female solidarity in gender-critical collectives supervised by Dr. Judith Albrecht and Dr. Nasima Selim. Their earlier BA in Social Sciences (Social Anthropology, 2016) from the University of Manchester explored menstruation discourses under Prof. Michelle Obeid’s supervision.
