معرفی
Henrik Sørensen is a Part-time Lecturer at the Department of the Built Environment within the Faculty of Engineering and Science at Aalborg University. His roles include academic supervision of PhD projects and research collaboration in thermal management and innovation processes. He holds a PhD in Innovation Management from Aalborg University (2015).
His research spans two core areas: employee-driven innovation in governmental and construction sectors, and thermal engineering solutions involving heat sinks and boiling cooling systems. Key projects include thermal management of power electronics (2018–2021) and adiabatic cooling systems for ventilation (2019–2020).
Publications focus on innovation mechanisms, such as case studies in governmental organizations and frameworks for user-driven supply networks. His work emphasizes organizational decision-making, employee empowerment, and practical implementation challenges in large-scale projects. Recent thermal engineering research explores novel heat sink designs and flow boiling applications.
He has supervised PhD candidates including A. Y. Nujukambari (thermal management) and J. Hærvig (environmental engineering). Collaborative projects with industry partners like Elforsk highlight applied research in ventilation systems and exhaust gas treatment.
Labs/Teams: Active in interdisciplinary teams addressing energy-efficient systems and innovation processes within Aalborg University’s engineering faculty.
