Henrik Rahm is a Professor of Swedish at Karlstad University since July 1, 2024, and an Associate Professor at the Swedish Centre for Languages and Literature at Lund University. His research focuses on discourse analysis, economic discourse, and transdisciplinary studies.
Research Interests
Henrik Rahm's research explores the interplay between language, journalism, and society, with specific projects on economic crimes in court proceedings, nuclear discourse (ESMOR, KOSMR), and the influence of Selma Lagerlöf on education. His work combines discourse analysis, financial reporting, and cultural studies.
Scientific Awards
Recipient of multiple distinctions, including election to the Swedish Literature Society (2024), honorable mention in CH Witts Prize (2023), and nominations for Carl Henrik Witt Prize (2017). Additional awards include the Royal Society of Sciences in Lund (2011) and the 2002 dissertation prize from Esaias Tegnér d.y. foundation.
Teaching and Supervision
Teaches discourse analysis and text analysis while supervising bachelor's, master's, and doctoral theses. Current doctoral supervisee: Kristoffer Holmquist (Lund University).
