Henrik Nieratschker

Henrik Nieratschker is a lecturer and researcher at the University of the Arts Bremen where he teaches media theory and media design. He is concurrently a PhD candidate in the Binational Artistic PhD Program jointly offered by the University of the Arts Bremen and Leiden University (including the Royal Academy of Art The Hague). His academic affiliations span Germany and the Netherlands.

Nieratschker's research examines the sociopolitical and cultural consequences of technological advancement through interdisciplinary approaches combining art and design methodologies. His work critically explores themes including digital globalization, artificial intelligence, and workplace automation, utilizing multimedia formats to create reflective narratives. His practice bridges pragmatic design and experimental art to generate novel insights about technology's societal impact.
