Henrik Johnsén is an Associate Professor at Södertörn University specializing in the History of Religions. His research focuses on Christianity, with particular emphasis on Late-Antique Monasticism, Syriac Orthodox Christianity in Sweden, and Migration Studies. Affiliated with the Department of History and Contemporary Studies, he also serves as a Subject Coordinator and Lecturer.
Henrik’s work explores the intersections of religious traditions and diaspora dynamics, particularly within Syriac Orthodox communities in Sweden.
