Henri Schildt is a Professor at Aalto University's Department of Management Studies. His research focuses on digital strategies, data-driven management, strategic change, and organizational cognition. He leads an Academy of Finland-funded project examining how social enterprises and NGOs collaborate with refugees to counter marginalization. His work bridges organizational theory with contemporary challenges in innovation, ethics, and societal integration.
Research interests include digital transformation in organizations, institutional logics, entrepreneurial storytelling, and the ethical implications of organizational practices. His recent studies address topics such as organizational secrecy’s impact on strategic renewal, moral failures in public discourse, and the role of compassion in utopian change initiatives.
