Henri Bouillon

Henri Bouillon is a Lecturer in Public Law at the University of Franche-Comté, affiliated with the Faculty of Law, Economics, and Management and the Department of Law and Management. He is also a member of the Centre de Recherche sur les Juridictions et la Fonction Contentieuse (CRJFC).

• Philosophy of Law and History of Legal Thought

Selected Publications (2021-2025) reflect his focus on secularism, administrative responsibility, and governance reforms. His work includes analyses of the 2004 secularism law, regularization of urban planning permissions, and the evolution of prefectural functions. He has contributed to debates on religious symbols in schools, abortion rights, and judicial interpretation techniques like the 'useful effect' doctrine.
