معرفی
Henning Sirringhaus is the Royal Society Research Professor and Hitachi Professor of Electron Device Physics at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge. He leads the Sirringhaus Lab, focusing on organic semiconductors, thermoelectrics, spintronics, and flexible electronics. He holds a PhD from ETH Zürich and has been at Cambridge since 1997, co-founding Plastic Logic/FlexEnable.
- Affiliations: Fellow of Churchill College, Optoelectronics Group, Cavendish Laboratory.
- Education: Undergraduate and PhD in Physics from ETH Zürich (Switzerland).
Research Interests: Fundamental physics of organic semiconductors, thermoelectric waste heat conversion, spintronics, and organic field-effect transistors. His group develops novel materials and devices for energy-efficient electronics and sustainable energy solutions.
Recent Developments: Relocated the lab to the Ray Dolby Centre (2025), enabling advanced collaborations and facilities. Key projects include enhancing thermoelectric ZT values and exploring spin dynamics in organic systems.
Key Collaborations: ERC Synergy Grant (spintronics), Hitachi Cambridge Lab, University of Mainz, Imperial College London.
