Henar Murillo Villar

Henar Murillo Villar serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Private Law within the Faculty of Law at the University of Burgos, specializing in Roman Law and its evolution into modern legal frameworks.

Her educational foundation includes a Doctorate from the University of Burgos (2023), earned with the thesis El orden sucesorio "ab intestato" de Roma al derecho contemporáneo (The Intestate Succession Order from Rome to Contemporary Law), supervised by Dr. María Olga Gil García and Dr. Carmen López-Rendo Rodríguez.

Her research centers on Roman Law and Legal History, with concentrated expertise in Succession Law, examining the transition of inheritance systems from ancient Rome to present-day private law.
