Dr. Hem Basnet is a Professor of Financial Economics at the Reeves School of Business, Methodist University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Southern Illinois University and a Master’s degree in Finance from The City College of New York. A Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Economics and Finance, and previously served as Chair of the Department of Financial Economics.
