Mahtab Athari is an Associate Professor of Finance at Concord University's College of Professional and Liberal Studies. She holds a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from the University of New Orleans and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). Her research focuses on equity returns forecasting, ESG investing, behavioral finance, and market fundamentals.

Her teaching spans both undergraduate and MBA-level finance courses including Financial Management, Risk Management, and Financial Planning.
Research trends show consistent focus on international market analysis, ESG integration, and predictive modeling in finance. Professional experience includes regulatory work at Tehran Securities & Exchange Organization's Division of Enforcement.
