Hellen Nabayiga is a Lecturer in Procurement, Supply Chain and Operations Management at Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Osmania University (2011-2014), an MSc in Procurement and Supply Chain from University of Strathclyde (2015-2016), and is currently completing her part-time PhD in Management Science at University of Strathclyde.
Her research focuses on value chain sustainability assessment across healthcare, agricultural and food systems sectors. She employs mixed-method approaches including:
- Discrete event simulation
- Agent-based modeling
- Hybrid simulation tools
Her publications demonstrate expertise in healthcare supply chain optimization, particularly through simulation modeling applications in pharmaceutical logistics and public health systems across Africa.
Awards:
- Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy (HEA) - 2023
She teaches and coordinates modules including EN4107 Engineering Management and BSM260 Personal, Professional and Academic Skills.
