Helge Halim Ivar Kjekshus is a distinguished Norwegian pianist and Associate Professor at the University of Agder, where he has served since 2021. Previously, he held an Assistant Professor position at Piteå School of Music (Luleå University of Technology, Sweden) from 2009. He contributes to the Reconfiguring Historical, Musical Crafts Education research group.

Research Interests center on classical piano performance, chamber music traditions, and music pedagogy. His work explores intersections between Scandinavian music education, historical performance practices, and contemporary concert interpretation. Recent projects include:

- Collaborative romance concerts with Nordic artists
- Development of piano pedagogy frameworks
Performance Activities include solo appearances with major orchestras across Scandinavia and the Baltic region, collaborations with renowned musicians like Truls Mørk and Henning Kraggerud, and extensive work with Norwegian Youth Music Championships.
