Helene Sjursen

Helene Sjursen is a Research Professor at ARENA - Centre for European Studies, University of Oslo, affiliated with the Faculty of Social Sciences. She specializes in international relations, EU foreign and security policy, democracy, and Norwegian foreign policy. Since 1997, she has led major projects like GLOBUS (Horizon 2020-funded) and LEGOF (Research Council of Norway), focusing on global justice and EU legitimacy. Sjursen coordinates EU-funded initiatives and chairs ARENA's EU foreign policy research group.
