Helena Woodard

Helena Woodard serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of English at The University of Texas at Austin's College of Liberal Arts. With a Ph.D. in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1991), she has established herself as a leading scholar in critical race theory, African American literature, and 18th century British literature through decades of research and teaching.
