Helena Wang

Helena Wang is a Senior Lecturer and ARC DECRA Fellow at the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Melbourne. She leads the Renewable Resource & Sustainability Group (R2S) and has held prestigious research fellowships at institutions including Deakin University and the National University of Singapore.

• Education: PhD in Chemical Engineering (2018) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW).
• Research Focus: Specializes in metal recovery, battery recycling, green hydrogen production, CO₂ conversion, and circular economy systems.
• Professional Roles: Committee member of the National Committee for Chemistry (Australian Academy of Science) and Executive Committee Member of IEEE Women in Engineering Victorian Section since 2023.
