Helena Martín Rodero

Helena Martín Rodero is the Head of the Biomedical Libraries Department at the University of Salamanca, where she plays a key role in supporting academic research and scientific evaluation. She holds a PhD in Public Health from Miguel Hernández University and advanced degrees in data analysis and research methodology from the University of Salamanca. Her work bridges library science and academic research support.

Her research interests center on bibliometrics, research methodology, and the evaluation of scientific activity. She actively contributes to postgraduate training programs and teaching innovation projects at USAL, focusing on enhancing research skills among academic and administrative staff. Her expertise is also sought nationally and internationally through consulting roles and participation in academic networks.

She is a member of the Bibliometrics and Scientific Information Observatory (OBIC) and serves on national working groups such as CRUE-REBIUN and JASPE. She also contributes as a lecturer in training programs for teaching, research, and administrative staff at the University of Salamanca and other institutions.

Helena participates on the editorial boards of Hospital a Domicilio and Revista ORL (EUSAL), supporting scholarly communication in health sciences. Her publications can be accessed via her Google Scholar and ORCID profiles.
