Helena Filipsson is a Professor at the Department of Geology, Lund University, Sweden, and a LINXS Fellow. She is a member of the Environment and Climate Core Group and coordinates Working Group 1 – Environmental Archives. Her research focuses on reconstructing past and present marine environments and their connections to climate change over the last 130,000 years, utilizing marine sediments, microorganisms, instrumental hydrographic data, and process-oriented modeling.
