Helena Cundill is a Research Fellow and Teaching Fellow at the University of Aberdeen's School of Divinity, History, Philosophy & Art History. She holds a First Class Honours Degree in Divinity (2011), a Master's-by-Research in Biblical Studies (2013), and a PhD in Practical Theology (2020). Her research focuses on neurodiversity and faith, including the intersection of autism with prayer and ADHD with Christian discipleship. She teaches courses in practical theology, disability theology, and sacramental theology.
- Research: Explores theological action research on autistic experiences of prayer and ADHD's impact on Christian practices. Funded by the Scottish Graduate School for Arts and Humanities and the Hope Trust for Scotland.
- Teaching: Leads modules on preaching, worship, sacramental theology, and theologies of human consciousness.
- Labs/Teams: Affiliated with the Centre for Autism and Theology.
