Helen Turner is the Associate Head of Art at York St John University's School of the Arts. Her work focuses on Public Art, Textiles, and participatory projects emphasizing community engagement and feminist discourse. She has led Arts and Health initiatives with vulnerable populations including mental health service users, care leavers, and elderly patients. Turner is also a Natural Voice Practitioner and performs in the folk duo 'Union Jill', exploring experimental pedagogy and audience participation dynamics.
