Helen Rawson is an Associate Professor at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Monash University. She holds a BSc Honours Nursing Degree from London and a Masters in Human Biology from Oxford University. With over 17 years of academic experience, her expertise spans teaching, research, and clinical practice focused on older adults. Her research prioritizes enhancing well-being and evidence-based care for older people in hospital, community, and residential settings, emphasizing family engagement, workforce development, and cultural diversity in healthcare. She is actively involved in initiatives such as the OPTICS study on infection control and the expansion of the Ciao Program for hearing support in aged care.
