Helen O’Toole is a Professor of Painting + Drawing and Chair of the Division of Art at the University of Washington, within the College of Arts and Sciences. She holds the Floyd & Delores Jones Endowed Chair in the Arts. Born in Ireland, she resides in Seattle and is renowned for her large-scale abstract oil paintings. Her career includes significant residencies, fellowships, and exhibitions in major institutions.
