Helen J. Addison

Helen J. Addison is a Consultant Lecturer at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), affiliated with the European Institute and Department of Government. Her work bridges governance, post-conflict state-building, and computational methods.

Her research focuses on administrative capacity, policy implementation, economic growth linkages, and deliberation in post-conflict societies using text analytics. She previously studied referenda on European integration in collaboration with Dr. Aude Bicquelet.

She has taught public choice, game theory (2010–2012), and computer-assisted text analysis (2012–2021) at LSE, and has practical experience in governance reforms across Central/Eastern Europe, South-Eastern Europe, and Mongolia.
