Dr. Helen Frank is the Deputy Head and Quality Coordinator of the School of Allied Health and Community at the University of Worcester, where she also serves as a Teaching Professor in Physiotherapy. A former international swimmer and Olympian (1988), she transitioned to academia after a clinical career in musculo-skeletal physiotherapy with children and elite sports, alongside NHS work. She leads inter-professional learning initiatives and co-designed pre-registration MSc courses in Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.

Professional Contributions: Examines PhD candidates at other HEIs and actively participates in course development. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes interactive, inclusive, and practice-relevant pedagogy across all academic levels (4-7).
Labs/Teams: Core contributor to the BSc Physiotherapy program and collaborator on inter-professional initiatives within the School of Health and Wellbeing.
