Dr. Helen Egeberg is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the School of Education at Edith Cowan University (ECU). She holds a PhD from Murdoch University (2019), a Master of Education with Honours from the University of Western Australia (2012), and prior qualifications in education and arts. Her research focuses on classroom management, instructional intelligence, and resilience in educational settings.
Professional affiliations include memberships in the Australian Association for Research in Education, the Australian Teacher Education Association, and trauma-focused organizations such as TARSC Western Australia. She has contributed to school boards, including Duncraig Senior High School, Ballajura Community College, and Warwick Senior High School.
Her research explores teacher and student perspectives on effective classroom management, trauma-informed practices in schools, and early childhood behavioral challenges. Recent work includes developing international trauma-informed principles for schools and analyzing teacher perceptions of student behavior in Western Australia.
