Prof. Dr. Heike Walz holds the Chair of Intercultural Theology, Mission and Religious Studies at Augustana University Neuendettelsau since 2016. Her roles include Rector (2018–2020) and Vice-Rector (2016–2018) at the university. She earned her habilitation in Religious Studies from Humboldt University Berlin (2016) and a theology doctorate from the University of Basel (2006). Her academic journey includes professorships in Argentina, Switzerland, and Germany, with a focus on postcolonial and decolonial theology, feminist theology, and intercultural dialogue.
