Univ.-Prof. Dr. Heike Henning is a Professor of Instrumental and Vocal Pedagogy at the Mozarteum University Salzburg's Department of Music Education Innsbruck. She leads the Center for Choral Pedagogical Research and Practice (ZECHOF) and has taught at multiple German universities. Her research focuses on choral pedagogy, vocal didactics, and music education development. She directs several choirs, including DeHCiBelles and ConTakt, and is renowned for her work in children's choir conducting and voice training. Henning has received awards such as the Arnold Kempkens Prize 2023 and the Research Competition Mozarteum Award 2022. Her teaching includes digital collaboration methods recognized by the 'Ars Docendi' shortlist. She actively engages in workshops, conferences, and community singing initiatives like 'Open Choir' events.
Education: Studied church/school music, media education, and earned a doctorate in music education. She has held academic roles at Nuremberg University of Music and others.
