Heidi Grantz is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Social Work at the Yale Child Study Center, Yale School of Medicine. She serves as Clinical Director of the Tic/OC/Anxiety Specialty Clinics since 2009 and has been a research coordinator since 1997. Her expertise includes cognitive behavioral therapies for OCD and anxiety disorders, Habit Reversal Therapy for Tic disorders, and Trichotillomania. Her research focuses on psychosocial stress's impact on symptom severity in children with Tourette Syndrome and OCD, contributing to publications on symptom prediction and treatment biomarkers. She co-developed the Yale Children's Global Stress Index (YCGSI) and collaborates with researchers like James Leckman and Denis Sukhodolsky. Grantz is a clinical liaison to the Tourette Syndrome Association and has been involved in trials of behavioral interventions and neurophysiological studies.
